Im thinkin about gettin these wheels in 17"...i live in ny/nyc so theres a lotta travelling in the city and what not..roads suck..thats why im thinking of downgrading to 18's..get more tire on the wheel
theres no lip on it really so it shoulnd't be bad i dont think..but i want opinions anyway..
17x8
+35 offset
should fit nice

btw..i have a 2000 max..grey lustre..but its not like how it is in the cardomain site anymore..i have the stillen touring front, rear valence, and the ninja sideskirts

Hey Raf, those are exactly the same wheels I'm gonna order in a couple of weeks but in 18" Hyper Black. I think they would look sweet on a dark color car, and since Enkei wheels are pretty good quality I wouldn't worry that much about bending them and it helps that they don't have a lip either, more metal on the rim itself

does anyone know what the correct tire sizing would be for 17x8's?
im thinking of gettin the falken ziex 512's which seem real popular on the board..the sumitomos get bubbles in em sometmies
any other suggestions? something all season..

Having a lip on a wheel affects it's strength?

they're nice wheels, and light too...

FWIW, I'm on my second set of 234/45/17 Sumitomo HTR+ and I am very happy with them.

I loved those wheels. I think either those or SSR Comps are the only wheels i like better on my car that i could justify buying for my Maxima. SSR C's would have to be used though. Those wheels are not only lightweight, but would look pure badass on a dark colored Maxima. I believe there is a 5th genner with them in on a black max with drop. Looks WICKED. + 1 for the weight too, very light.

im pretty set on either the falken ziex 512's or the sumi htr+.. recent reviews of the falkens have me leaning towards the 512's a lil more...and of course.. 235/45/17

I have them, the are great sharp looking rims. Looks better real life than in photos where it looks kinda flat looking. only weights 17.6lbs, weighed them. 235/45 is a good size, u only lose .4" in diameter than 225/50 but saved another few pounds. I think my setup is only like 43-44lbs with sumi htr+ 235/45 17s
