summer tires
Just wondering when anybody is thinking of putting their summer tires back on. I have sumitomo htrz II's sitting around waiting for warmer weather, but I can't remember above what temp you're supposed to use them. I know if it gets too cold the tire will suffer, but I'm really clueless as to how cold is too cold..
any ( help / suggestions / telling me how i'm wrong ) would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Besides trying to find time and waiting for good weather to do some repairs, I'm waiting until the ambient temperatures are going to stay at or above 10 C for most of the daytime.
I've tried looking in Almanacs and stuff like that, but they only go by month, so they're pretty useless...

It's not "bad" for the tires as far as I can find out, it's just that they have less grip and tend to harden below that, which is why sometimes you read tire reviews where the person complains that the tires are hard and bumpy until you drive around a little bit (presumably because they warm up).
