My goal is max 1/4 mile performance but streetable and decent snow traction (better then the potenzas). I am guessing light weight aluminum 16" rims and as wide as I can go without rubbing the wheel wells when I am at 100% turning capacity. Can anyone suggest a size, rim, and/or tire? I am of course looking at affordability as well.

I don't think that the goals of maximum 1/4 mile performance and "decent snow traction" are really compatible...

I really think you should either look at summer treads and a cheap set of winter tires, or be willing to sacrifice some of either. Most A/S tires still suck in the snow though.

I meant maximum 1/4 mile performance with the other goals in mind. I will read upp on the other threads. Maybe my answer will be in there. As for snow traction all I am really lookin for is atleast a minor improvement over the stock potenzas.
