17 inch pplz

what size tire do you have??

i have 235/45/17 on 17x8 wheel

and it looks lil too big...

just wondering what size i should go next time

I have 235/45/17s on my 17x7s. I like the sidewall, helps to cushion the ride ainy bit (roads around here are crap), plus it fills out the fender gap pretty well (I'm on maxspeeds so my drop is not that big).

235/50/17's... Not by choice, they came with the rims... Im getting 235/45/17's when I wear these out because I rub in the rear.

The measurements of a wheel (2xx/4x/17) is a guideline. The actual size of a tire varies from brand to brand, tire to tire. So someones 40 profile tire could actually be close to anothers 45 profile tire (assuming same width).

Yes, it does have a smaller diameter than the stock 5th gen tires. However, the speedo would only be off by 1.5-2.6 mph.
