Falken 512's on OEM SE wheels - what PSI gives best handling/comfort?
Well i've had my front Falkens at 32 psi and things were loose and sloopy - especially the steering wheel feel along with vibrations at ~70-80mph.
Now i'm running the fronts at 36psi cold and it is a world of difference !!!
Great handling - good bite and turning feel during line changes and that over all
"solid" ride feel and very few vibrations only when road is bad.
at what psi you guys find your Falkens perform best handling/comfort wise?
here is my original thread about loose and sloppy feel from steering wheel:

thanks in advance
Nick.

My Falken 512 are not the stock size. . . they are 245/45/17 . . it was mentioned on other sites that the rolling diameter is less than 1% different from stock size . . .the tire in 245 size were on sale for less than $100 per tire (unheard of for this car). . .they were delivered with 30psi . . . and felt underinflated . . .I increased to 36psi and then 40psi and the stability, handling, AND RIDE improved. . . .
The stock size tire was almost impossible to find in any brand . . .I found later that Falken recommends at least 7.5 inch rims for this size . . stock rim width for this car is 7 inch . . .I wonder if the tires are too big for the rims, and what repercussions might come out of that . . .I consider the tires ok---good value for the money but not outstanding. . . I drive a lot of miles and will probably go through these in a year or so . . . will probably bite the bullet next time and get GOodyear Eagle F1 . . .which has good user reviews on all the sites . . .should I go back to stock tire size that time if I can? I'm not interested in replacing the OEM rims . .. .
