16x8.5 on 4th gen...

16x8.5 with a 37 offset using 245/50 16 or even 255/50 16. Will this fit a 4th gen?

Even with 235/45/17's, sidewalls look too big.

With a 37mm offset, 245's will sit flush with the front fenders, and will be just a tiny bit recessed in the rear, but they won't rub on the fender lip.
these are 16's so i do expect the big side walls, but looks are least important if i go with this set up.

what about a 245/45/16........ you get the same cross section with a sidewall a little shorter than a 225/50/16...... if you are looking for performance I think it would be a better choice.....my .02
