Question: good place to find rim & tire deals?

Guys, I am looking to upgrade from my stock 17s to maybe other 17s or even 18s. What site would you recommend for finding a great deal on both rims and tires other than TireRack?

And if you have a good deal please let me know (by sending pics)

thanks

I had good luck with www.wheelmax.com. I got a great deal on my Giovannas with Kumho tires. I don't know about their knockoff brand, Exel, but if you stick to one of the big name brands you can usually find a pretty good deal there.

www.tirerack.com I cannot tell you how good these guys are. If you call them they will give at least $20 of the website per rim/tire. They usually have very comprable prices. Also, they have great customer service. Semi long story. I first order OZ Superleggerras. It was the last four they had in stock seeing as OZ stopped producing them in graphite. They shipped me three from one warehouse. One from another. The single rim was mismarked in the comp and was actually silver instead of the correct graphite. I immediately called them and explained when 3 and 1 arrived. I spoke w/ Dexter. He asked what other rim would be good. I did my puppy dog voice and said that nothing was in my pricerange for similar weight. I suggested the SSR's but said they were $100 to much. Well he took it to heart and gave me $100 of per rim. He organized for FedEx to pick up the wrong ones and the correct SSR's were at my door three days later. The result: I spent the nearly the same $$$ as I would have on the OZ's and got a 2Ibs lighter rim. Because of this I recommend them over all.

I'm saying that they did with me. If you are friendly and discuss a package with them and act as if that is pushing your budget they will probably haggle with you. If they could knock $100 of my SSR's they shouldn't have a problem with a few dollars. When I first ordered the O.Z.'s I pulled the line that, "But I was quoted $XXXX yesterday and today its $XXXX + 80." You get the idea. They are very friendly people and their stuff ships extremely fast. 3 days for me. Shipping is free!
