Want 18x8.5" rims - suggestions?

I am considering buying some 18x8.5" rims, because I feel like I would bend 19's, and because I think wider is better. So 18x8.5" seems like a perfect fit for me. I would like them in gunmetal or even black or hyperblack, preferably with a polished lip. What are some rims that fit my criteria? How about tires? 235/35/18, or something else? Thanks.

How much is your budget for wheels-that will determine the answer. As for tires, 245/40/18 on a 8.5" wheel is an excellent size.

What's your approx. budget?

You should run 245/40/18 w/ 18X8.5 rims.

Lithy,
Know you are into your car liked the sound clips you posted.

For my winter tires I bought Rota Circuit 10 wheels, also consider the Slipstream also Rota. Very light weight and held up very well with all the winter salt crap.
You will probably be around $700 for a set in 18"

Ran across an ebay seller, bought them non ebay though, and the guy was great. Can look it up if you want.

Hmm.. thanks Mick, but I need at least 8" wide, preferably 8.5". I looked up some Rotas, and the price and design appealed to me (the flat 5 and 6 spoke ones) but those were only available in 15" and 16". Anyway, how come Rotas are so cheap? Will they bend easy?
