Which rims do you think look better?
I'm looking for inexpensive rims for my car. I want 17s and I want gunmetal with a silver lip. I came up with 2 choices and I'm having a tough time deciding between them. What rims do you think would look better on a white maxima?

I really don't have the money to get really good rims. I like the ssr comps but they're too much money. I even looked into getting the ssr's in 16s but they were even too much. I'm only in high school and I'm trying to save for college AND work on my car. The rims and tires for the rims above are only $800. I can't spend thousands on rims right now. Maybe in a year I'll buy some better ones. But for now I was gonna go with those.

When it comes to wheel weight, price is usually more a factor than size. Meaning most cheap wheels will probably be on the heavy side, and 18s won't be much worse than 17s.
I really think you should save up some more money. Wheels make or break how your car looks and heavy wheels really make a difference in how quick your car is. Don't be discouraged by SSR's prices... you can find good, light wheels for less than that. Rota and Centerline both make light wheels that won't cost you thousands. Also consider buying used wheels... after saving up a few grand for the wheels I'd always wanted, I couldn't justify spending that much money on them. Instead I found a set of used wheels, of similar quality, for half the price. There's a guy selling a set of 18" SSR Integrals in the Wheels/Tires section for about a grand.

Buy used.....I saw some 18" SSR GT-1s with tires for $1000 in the wheels and tires classfieds on the org. Let someone else take the depreciation for you. Just be patient and keep looking for good bargains. That's how I got my SSRs.
