as you can see, their rating is very similar. well...i don't drive very aggressively and i don't race or whatsoever. i just want a reasonable price tire that provides enough grip for street use. i was being suggested that 711 is actually not a bad choice, but i wanna here opinion from you guys regarding the following issues:

1. how is the tread wear of 711 compare to 712?
2. howcome so many people said 711 is high performance ALL SEASON tire, but tirerack stated it's a high performance summer tire only?
3. i already have 712 and i know the tracktion on it very well, how is the tracktion on 711?
4. i have voxx mgr 17X8 with 38mm offset, and most likely i'm going for 235/45/17 (IMO this is the optimal size). any other size suggestion that will provide better tracktion and tirewear?
