tire question for the gurus

will 255/45/18 tire fit on a 5th gen maxima. i know 245/45/18 fit fine with no problems but i want to get 255/45 series tires ifthey fit. anyonerunning on this size?

Go with 255/40/18. Your handling will most likely suffer, depending on your choice of tires. 255/45/18 is for 6th gen.

offset is also important in relation to the maximum tire size you wanna run

here is mine with 265/45, 38mm offset 17x9

Yes it will fit. Make sure you get rims w/ correct offset though

offset is +38mm.... im also planning on getting 5mm spacer which will make the total offset +33mm.. will +38 and +33mm offset work?
