Falken 512's Price and Size

Well I have a 2000 SE w/17 inch wheels. I need to replace my current tires. I know stock size is 225/55/17. I currently have 245/35/17. If I get the Falken 512's what size should I get them in? Also, what price range should they be? On tires.com they are selling for $100 shipped. I live in NYC, any of you guys know a great tire shop that would do it for less?? Please let me know, Thank in advance.

I hope you meant 235/45/17....running 245 width tires on stock wheels is very dangerous, not to mention that the tires are throwing off the speedo by 8%.

Sears will match discoun tire direct prices. I went there yesterday and took the printout from discount tires for some 512's and they matched the price. So I'm going to go back and order them next week. Everything included they only ended up being 97.00 more installed. Which is cheaper since most places want to charge 20.00 per tire to mount and balance and you still don't get the road hazard and the convenience of a local retailer.
