What size tires to get for 18's
What size tires to get for 18's
I'm getting the HP EVO Lightnings 18 X 8 Just wondering what tire size I should get because I don't know a great deal about the sizes.
245/40? or 235/40?
245/40? or 235/40?
The availability on the 235's is far superior than the 245's as well as slightly cheaper. I have 235's on my car right now because I have 17x8's ... So I won't really feel a difference. But I ordered the 235's today. 599.40 shipped to my door. The 245's were on back order, so I just went with what they recommended.
That's why the Pirelli's are perfect for me IMO. If I put them on to early or take them off too late it'll be ok if we get snow. Unlike my Yokohama AVS's which are so bad in the snow that you can't move at all.
Anyway. I ordered the tires from tirerack on Monday at about noon and when I got home from school at noon my mom told me that they were here. I was like holy crap, two days. Now all I need are my rims and then I'll be good to go

I've seen a lot of posts here on the org complaining about Kumhos. Which one are you referring to that's far superior to the 512's?
Tire Rack doesn't sell Falkens (I wish they did) so I didn't see any reviews of them on their site.
