try www.treadepot.com for toyos and they sale Pirelli's too

Toyo Proxes TPT - 368

Toyo Proxes T1-S - 480

Toyo Proxes 4 - 316

i would add about 60 dollars for shipping ?

thanks for the link CC. I was talking to a friend who has a talon and he uses kuhmo ecsah 712's. I think i'd like to go with those, but they were trying to sell me all season tires for 520, it never snows much here, and i think id rather have good water shedding tires and also good dry tires cause we actually have a lot of dry days here in portland : )

I personally don't like 225 50 16. I agree with some that they are just too wide for the wheel and kind of 'bulge' when you go around corners taking away from the handling effect. My car felt a lot better with 215 55 16, that's what i'll be getting next time if i don't get some more wheels.

Yeah, there is the +1 +2 concept which clearly dictates which tires are equivalent, yet some people like to put whatever they want regardless of rim width. 215/55-16 = 235/45-17 = 235/40-18. 225/50-16 is not in the equation.

i know guys, the guy at my local tire place looked at me like i was stupid when i told him i wanted a smaller aspect. DUH! I know they dont fit into the equation because i want better handeling! i dont care if i have an extra inch or two, i want performance. My friend has an eagle talon...i can't even touch him in the corners. He has 55's on his car but he would start skipping cause the sidewall would roll under. I haven't dont that, yet, in my maxima, and i dont want it to happen. But it makes sense that a 225 would buldge...i have 215/55 on there now..ill probably go with a 215/45. damn toyo t1's last less than 30k, so ill get new ones in a couple years..

I don't go with all-season because they can't compare to summer/wet compounds.

I use Cooper Zeon 2XSs. Love them. 215/45R17s.

I keep the standard 15" alloys and donuts for winter driving. That way, my Motegi MR7s don't see the salt.
