Anyone running 5 x 112.5?

I know that the proper stud pattern is 5 x 114.3 but all the wheel shops i go to tell me 112.5 will fit no problems. I even had one mounted to my car to see if it would fit and it did no probs. Anyway I was wondering if anybody here was doing this and if they had any troubles. I think 112.5 is mercedes pattern. There are many more choices in 19 and 20" wheels with the 112.5 bolt pattern.
Also what is the diameter of hte center hub? Is it 60 something mm?

they fit, I have heard that after a few years the wheel stud will crack. when people use 112 they usually drill it bigger.

There is a difference inbetween fitting properly and the wheel just fitting over the studs. It WON'T line up properly and will lead to a dangerous situation as NYC TAR specified.

Whomever told you that doing this was a good idea should be avoided at all costs. That's some dangerous information they're spouting
