Yokohamas or Toyos

I am getting new tires and want to get some Ultra High or High Performance Summer Tires (I just moved to Houston). I have found some deals online for some tires that are okay (Kumho, Hankooks) but I am thinking about going with a higher quality brand.

I currently have Falken Ziex ZE-512 and the only issue I have had with them is a slight pull to the left (4 shops all say that the tires are mounted correctly and everything is in aligment and balanced). The traction on the OE Bridgestones sucks and they are too expensive.

Has anyone used Yokohamas or Toyos? Any bad experiences?

Are you saying cost is no object? Because YOKOs are pretty darn good, like an AVS Sport. But on a Maxima?? A Maxima?? We're talking about a FWD car that trashes its front tires no matter how hard the front is aligned and the rims balanced, rebalanced, and rotated. My Sumitomos are shot after 28k or so, so I am jumping on the Kumho Ecsta bandwagon. Way cool load rating, good price. Again, we're talking about a Maxima, it doesn't even do 168 mph in its dreams with twin superchargers, RWD, and an indepedent rear suspension with a new steering rack.

The toyo t1-s is a better performing summer tire than the yoko avs sport is, which is yoko's max performance summer tire. I've had 2 sets of T1-S and I will be getting a 3rd as soon as i have the money for it. The T1-s is an incredible tire.
