ok thats my delimma, should i sell my stock wheels and tires to buy tires for my 18's or should i keep the stock wheels for winter? i really don't have a lot of money so its either sell the stock wheels and buy tires or sell the 18's. what would you guys do. could you go without winter wheels or not? btw the wheels aren't chrome so i don't have to worry about wearin the chrome off or anything. also can someone reccomend pretty good all season 235/40-18 tires? thanks

 

Its always good to have spare(s) wheels and tires around, you never know when you need them. Dont have any winter problems around here but sometimes if I go on long trips, I sometimes put on the stock wheels on the front (ricer style) just incase I run into unknown places with potholes or other things that will mess up 18s.

 

hmm yeah thats a good point but i still don't know, i really want to get my 18's on. i guess ill have to wait and see and if nothing comes up then ill just sell the stock wheels. are there any issues with traction running aftermarket wheels in the snow or does it just depend on the tires i buy? thanks

 

keep them for 1 more reason. when u wanna sell the max (if u ever do), u dont wanna give away them 18"s

 

yeah your right that is a good reason, i doubt ill ever sell my max tho, its got 115k with a salvage title and i wont get squat for it so hopefully i learn how to change out motors and trannys. The only reason i considered selling them is because i can't afford tires for the 18's and im goin off to college in less than 2 months. guess unless i win some money ill jus sell the 18's. any more advice? thanks for the input guys
