RWD only wheels...Is there a such thing???

I am looking to buy some 18inch wheels off of a friend of mine, they have the same offset at the max but he says that when he bought them they said something about being for rear wheel drive. I dont think that there is a wheel for rear or front wheel but I wasnt sure.

Being intended for RWD use usually means a lower offset. Find out the specs on offset and width and we can help you out a lot more.

Ant that is NOT the same offset as the max. The max has around 40-45 mm offset, and a 114.3 mm bolt circle.

112 will fit the max but not recommended at all. They might be called rear wheel drive because as was mentioned before the rear offset might be different than the front or they might be different widths (which is the case). You might be able to get away with 20mm offset in the back with 8.5 inch wheels but with 9.5" you will be rubbing. If it is 20 mm up front then you will be rubbing bad there as well with an 8.5" rim. Those wheels are probably from a mercedes. They run 112.5mm.

that bolt pattern is made for euro cars...audi, bmw, etc..... those will not fit the max, our bolt pattern is 114.5....20mm is most likely for the rear wheels, it prob will fit if u get some thin tires....but will most likely rub w/ the fender....
