I haven't posted since I bought my Lancer Evolution but anyways...
I'm buying new wheels for my Evolution, so I'll have the stock wheels
hanging around. So curiousity got to me and I started to wonder if
they'd fit the 1998 Maxima SE I have.

So far the indications from my research on tirerack.com & tires.com
point to ... YES

5x114.3 +38 ... the tires might be a problem(?) 245/45/17
All suggestions on tirerack point to running 235/45/17 instead
on a 17x8 wheel.

Anyone running these wheels on their Maxima?
Any feedback would be useful.

They will definitely fit without a problem. +38 offset is within the specs of a stock maxima. But the only thing thats gonna be thrown off is your speedo. 245/45/17 is kinda tall for a stock 98 SE. 235/45/17 will bring the speedo back to its correct reading.

Oops, I'm wrong... you're right 245/45/17 is TALL. In fact it won't fit the Evolution without rubbing. The correct size is in fact 235/45/17 ... I confused myself because I recently ordered 245 and had to send it back.

I figure it should be no problem at all now... 235/45/17 at
5x114.3 with +38 ... should work.

I'll be REALLY surprised if it works perfect since I had no clue
the Evolution wheels would fit my Maxima when I bought it.
