Another HP EVO question

Hey I'm new to this site. I just got a 96 5 spd SE last wednesday, and I'm about to order some rims. Before I came on this site, I wanted to EVO wheels, and after coming on the site I see everyone like those wheels. And I've read a couple threads, and I'm kind of unsure about the wheels now. I wanted to get 18X8. And 1) I wasn't sure what size tired would be better, especially after reading all the threads 225/235/245...2) if I would have probs putting them on...needing spacers and etc... So if anyone can help me out please. I'm so use to running honda stuff...the maxima is new to me. So..any suggestions please inform me.

on the rears the dust caps got in the way so i removed them because with the new centercaps they were sealed tight enough to prevent any problems

on the fronts the the axle sticks out a bit too far and does not allow the centercaps to fit on properly (see pic)

theres 2 ways to correct this, some people shave down the metal and some just modify the centercaps (im doing the latter)

the tires i have are 235 45 18's with tein springs and it doesn't rub at all..

back to topic...you can cut the front part of the metal...where it sticks out...
you only need to but it a little bit...someone on here has done it i forget who though...
i just don't have anytime to get it done since i work so much...
and being a little lazy when i have my days off hehe
i am going to get it done sooner or later

i have the same rims and have the same prob as jc 2k se and i heard that shaving up to the cotter pin is alright, and adding a quarter inch spacer (if needed) will correct this problem, i plan on doing this, but does anyone else have any other suggestions on what to do before i actually do it??
