wheel offset

wheel offset

Hey guys, im looking for rims for my max, but i donno my cars offset... can anybody smack some sence into me?

If 98s are the same as 96s, i think your recommended offset is 35-40mm. The smaller the offset, the further your wheels will stick out of your car (wider stance). I went with 35 and they are perfect.

Yeah 35-40 is generally whats recommended. My wheels are 36 and they are perfect in that they're almost to the edge but not sticking out

I also have to consider what width the new rims will be, that will have the same effect as a lower offset
