what is stock 17" wheel offset?
What's the offset of oem 17" SE rims?

or i'll just ask. is a 48 mm offset too much for 18's?

I'm pretty sure it's +45 but I don't own a 5th Gen... maybe someone can verify.

It is 45mm offset. For your 18s, I would suggest offset between 35-38
