Alright just wondering. But I have had 18" MM EVO5's for 2 months. I just want to know how the overall quality of these wheels are. Thanks - Ray

I love mind but have noticed that they seem to scratch very easily IMO.

I've always known MM's to be "soft"; structurally weaker than OE's. Even on a local messageboard I frequent, I've read threads where members had their lips crack.

I'd just take it easy on less than decent roads. A lot of NY guys here have the same wheels; they'll give you the best insight.

And yes, they Evo's do seem to get chips and scratches relatively easily.

i can also vouch for how delicate MMs seem to be. i had a set on my previous car and from my experience they bent and scratched too easily. luckily none of them cracked though.

I had some Mille MM-11 rims and they seemd to hold up well. I really liked them a lot, and regret having sold them.

i was told by a guy at work that he had several friends in the past with MMs and they were not good, but my EV-S on my accord were wonderful. several accidental pothole slams and the rims were still structurally perfect. the face was VERY easy to scratch and i had to be extremely careful, but i would get the Evo5s if not half the board have them.

the bright silver paint seemed to dull in time, but my driveway is dirt/mud and i cant really use that as a comparison.

dasyce, i took my 18" MMs into NYC all the time and never had an issue. i avoided many a pothole too, but i did hit some, and the rims came out unscathed. it seemed they were VERY strong wheels, sometimes at night i would slam a pothole goin 75+ on the highways, the kinda hit that you can feel in your teeth, and yeah, the tire bubbled, but nothing wrong with the wheels at all.
