What size tires to buy?
Hi guys, I have a 2001 Maxima GXE. It came with Toyo P215 55 R16. I am seriously thinking about upgrading to P235 60 R16. If that doesn't work P225 60 R16 should do. Does anyone know what are the upper limits on the size of tires that can fit on a stock 5th Gen Maxima. Thanks a lot guys.

I don't think you want to use a 60 series tire.... it will be taller than your stock tires... you could use a 225/50/16 it would be slightly shorter and wider than stock.... I don't know how wide your rims are.... so I don't know if you could run the 245/45/16 or poss a 245/50/16.... I wouldn't put a 245 on a rim less than 7.5".... 8" or 8.5" would be perfered
