'04 Maxima SL fit on an '02 Maxima?

Will the 17" wheels and tires from a 2004 maxima fit a 2002 maxima? Are the offset and other measurements exactly the same as my stock 2002 se wheels and tires?
Thanks

1,386 posts later, you should realize there's a forum for this...

There wasn't a forum for it when I made those 1,386 posts (if you're refering to the Wheel/tire forum). And this ? IS regarding a 5th Gen maxima. A simple yes or no would've done. Sorry to cause such chaos.

There have also been numerous 5th gen members who have put these and the '04 18" wheels on their cars. So you won't have any issues.

I agree...those wheels are super heavy, you think your stock 17's are heavy, those 18's are rediculous heavy! Definitely a bad move IMO.

I just put 2k4 18"s on my 01 w/ 5mm spacers all around. Getting ready for the winter.

FYI, they are 18x7.5 w/ 40mm offset

Actually these are 17" wheels off the 2004 SL maxima. And they are lighter than the 18s I had on previously.

And yes, it does suck when people try to act like they are too cool to answer. I've answered a ton of questions for 5th Gen owners as I was the first one to use the PAC SWI-X and the first one to get the VB mod on an '02. And now that I have a question, I get a response from someone who (5,491 posts later) thinks he's/she's hot ****.

Thanks a million to those who helped. Even if you think they're ugly, I appreciate the response and opinion. The 17" wheels are on, I love 'em and the ride is much smoother than it was when I had 18s. Thanks guys!

Just messin' with you man. That post was more to encourage the mods to move the thread than to you. But yes, I think they should fit just fine. There are a few members on here runnin' 6th gen18's, and I remember seeing a couple with 17's also...
