Optimal pressure for Falken 512's...suggestions?

Currently running Falken 512's 225/45/17. At 30psi, it seems sluggish. Wondering what you guys are running it at. The max pressure on the side wall is stated as 50 psi...but that seems obsurd. I've written Falken tires about this, but they seem to be as speedy as Ceicil the turtle with their responce. Help a fellow Maxer out. Get back with your opinions.

Thanks guys

I just got my 512's last week....I read on some posts that folks recommend 34 psi. Discount tire said they also recommended staying with the same factory "stagger", so I have 34 fr and 38 rear. Seems ok, so far, but haven't really driven them hard yet.

I have driven them hard and 30 psi just don't cut it. I also heard that more pressure in the front tires are the way to go. Who the hell knows..lets wait for more posts

Running 40 psi all around on 225/50R17s and it does nothing to stiffen the sidewalls.

30 would be way too low. I'm running 34 in all 4 tires (245x40x18)

I upped the pressure to 39 front/35 rear...seems much better now. It also fixed that "vibration" problem between 60-80 mph that alot of falken owners have been experiencing. Almost no vibration now.

Thanks for the help guys.
