Any modification needed for 20" rims?

Ive got a 1998 Infiniti I30 with 18" rims on them that are pretty damaged, so I plan on changing them soon. I was going to put 19s on until I saw these 20s that I am in love with. My car is lowered on s tech springs. My question is will I have to do any modifications for them to fit, or will I be fine? I dont want to have any rubbing, or atleast major rubbing.

Depends on the tire size. If you get the common 245 35 20 then you might have some issues being as low as you are. Probably even more important than the overall diameter is the wheel width and offset. 20 x 8 or 20 x 8.5 with offset between 35 and 40 ish (orobably up to 45) should be ok.
I found 2 new 20" tire sizes here. One is 245 30 20 and the other was 255 30 20 both are close to stock diameter. Only drawback is that they are about $400 per tire.
I have 19s and I thik they look right on my car. I wanted 20s but I am glad I have 19s now.

nitto makes 225/35/20s and 235/35/20s and contental makes 225/35/20s the nittos are $650 a set of 4 and about $187 a peice on ebay. and their are about 3 or 4 companies that makes 20s in 7.5 inch rim width which would be perfect for 225 series tires. 225s and 235s can be mounted on a 8.5 inch rim but you just better drive like everypot hole is a 1 foot hole in the earth. in other words like i do with my 215/35/19s on 7.5 inch rims

let me be the first to tell you that you should atleast upgrade your brakes. 20's are really heavy and DO effect your braking.

Nobody has pics of stock maximas or I30s with 20s stock ride height, not lowered. Everyone I find is either lowered or don't know or can't tell, if you have some post them. Thanks

The top modification for 20's:

get an Escalade, not a maxima

but if you want a "serious" answer: no, no modifications are needed, provided you use an appropriate rim WIDTH, offset, and tire size.

assuming that you damaged ur 18's from a pothole....if those were damaged by pothole...ur 20's would def be damaged by a pot hole. You basically have no tire on them.....gets ridiculous after 19.....i wouldn't suggest it at all unless its a show car or ur only driving it on perfect roads which is hard to find ANYWHERE

If you do get them, and the offset is a little wide, I would roll the fenders. Best thing I have done to my car.
