questions about my ugly honeycombs as winter wheels:peeling clearcoat & winter tires?
well in the winter the ugly ol' honeycombs come out to play, only this time around i'm thinking of getting some solid winter tires on there to stay safe(r). i know people always talk about blizzaks, but i was wondering if anyone knows of any good goodyear or bridgestone/firestone tires because i get a discount through my work on those?
also, i got an extra set of honeycombs last winter for $20 with tires on them but the clearcoat is peeling off them. does anyone know how to get that off and what would be the best way to polish them? i'm just trying to make them look better, i know hard to do, but i figure that would look better than having crappy condition honeycombs.
thanks guys...

hey thanks man, any pics? did the clear coat actually come off because some people said the honeycombs clear coat is a thicker type film that wouldn't come of with that aircraft stripper. thanks
