New Tires for the Max

As all of you know or will soon know, the OEM tires suck for the 5.5 Maxima's. I'm going to be purchasing new tires this week and was wondering if any org. members were familiar with these tires that I am very interested in. If so, any opinions on them would be appreciated.(Falken Ziex ZE-512 Tires)

If you drive your max as if it were a minivan, get them. If not, get anything else.

After 3,000 miles on my set, the 512s have excellent dry and wet grip (not driven them on snow yet, had a rental Taurus last week), quiet, good resistance to hydroplaning. However, I hate the feel they give my car. The sidewalls are too soft for my liking and the turn in precicion is much worse than the RE92s. The tires just roll in the rim with minimal lateral forces and the car just wiggles as if you had a flat tire. Not a reasuring feeling and I'm not doing the slalom out there. Trying to minimize this loose feeling, I'm running 47 psi all around and it's somewhat acceptable, but still nowhere near the compliant feedback the crapenzas gave.

(Just to give you an idea, the rental Taurus, with over assited power steering, on 55 series 4 season Contis at 30 psi rode as compliant as my max on 50 series 512s at 47 psi)

I have the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S. They are ultra high performace all-season tires. I have no complaints about them and they can stick to the road. They are moderately priced and you can't go wrong with them.
