any rubing issues put this big a tire on my max all the way around? or would a 235/50 17? the 225/50 size has some wierd tire choice, i definitly think the stock size should have been diffrent, but anyone have issues with a 245/45 17 sized tire?

 

i am not positive... however, if you have stock rims... a 245 width might be too wide for the rim, the widest i would go is 235. i have 235/45/17's on my car and they work great

 

you can't use a 245 tire on the maxima's stock 17in. rim

 

You need at least a 7.5 inch wheel for a 245 width.

 

it is not going to rub!

 

certainly it wont rub... you cant get the tires on!

so we have 17x7s stock or 17x6.5s? 245s will go on the rims that big ive done it times before, but as long as they dont rub it will be fine
