Tire prices

Hi Guys, I just had a flat tire on my 2k3 max and i was shopping around and the cheapest price i got is $158.00 from TireRack.com. Is there any place where i can get it for a better price.

The tire number is P215/55R17 93H

Thanks in advance.

Try 225/50-17 Some Falkens or Kuhmos are around the $95-115 range/tire.

Change all of them of course, or stick with that size.

Check Discounttire direct, they have their prices that include shipping, tirerack does not include shipping in their preliminary prices, only whne ready to check out.

Although discount has a bit higher prices than tirerack, the have "free" shipping.

If you change one have them put it on the rear so you want have a pull problem. I replaced one tire because my tires where near new (warranty wouldnt cover it)and I put the new one on the front initially and had a slight pull, they said it was due to the worn down difference of my old tires. So they swapped it to the rear problem solved.

Has anyone ever tried or heard anything about the Toyo Proxes TPT http://www.edgeracing.com./tires/2155517/ I'd like to stay with stock size and the price isn't that bad.. Or is is worth changing sizes and getting the Falken's for less $$

I recently found that onlinetires.com has better prices than edge racing. Or at least the tires in my size are cheaper there.

I'm looking at 205/65/15 for my 98 I30 and found that H rated Falken Ziex are priced at $41 per tire and $47 for shipping to my zip code. Is that a reasonable price, first of all is the H rated tire okkk ? The V rated tire is sold out. Thanks.

What retail outlets sell Falken tires if I don't want to buy them online ?!? I'm afraid the installation will cost me abt $100 for 4 tires if I buy them online.
