Does lowering needs different tires ?

The stock size of tires on my 98 I30 is 205/65/15. Assuming I want to lower the car, I am just wondering if I'd need 55 or 60 tires ?!?

Reason why I am asking is that I want to buy tires now but I'd need some more time to get money to lower the car. I don't want to buy another set of tires after lowering it later.

Thanks.

Nope, same tires.

But, you can do what they call a "Plus Zero" upgrade and get 215/60-15 tires for a little more tread with the same overall diameter.
