i am runnin on stock 16's and i was wondering wat r the dis/advantages of going one size bigger

I got 225/50/16 on my '00 SE's. No problems what so ever. I'm not sure as far as advantages, other than wider/bigger contact patch. The tire size (height) should be very similar. I can't really think of disadvantages.

I just had Kumho Ecsta ASX 225/50/16 installed and no problems so far. Ended up getting a better deal w/ the 225/50/16 instead of the OE 215/55/16.
