tire pressure help

Do NOT fill your tires to the PSI listed on the side of the tire. That is the tires max inflation. Open the arm rest find the psi Nissan recomends and fill accordingly. You can go up but not down. I run 35 lbs in my front tires even though stock is 33 lbs.

Ok where to start. The more air you have the harder the tire. duh This is good and bad. On smooth road the car will feel better...the side wall will not flex and less rolling resistance. Now realaity smooth road where??? Since you have lots of air in the tire the tire it will not flex as much and you will loose traction with the road. Don't believe me...go around a curve and hit a bump and feel that back end hop. Also you will get one crappy ride at 41lbs
I run 35 lbs in the front tire 1) to firm up the tire (less lean) 2) adjusting the front/rear with plus or minus 2-3 lbs you can change the under/over steer of the car slightly. You will not get the dramatic change you get with a RSB.
Stock or not you do not fill to max. Once the tire heats up you are over max. Think about it then I should be running my Z at 51 lbs. Man would I feel every little thing in the road.

As said, you don't want to start off filling them to the max PSI.
225/65-16 is a really WEIRD size, so I would consult a tire shop or the place you bought them to get a PSI suggestion to start at. They have charts for this so you should do this anyway even if that size is a typo...

R U sure you have 65 series tires and not 55 series?? I mean, like...what do u normally do with your car that it needs that much additional ground clearance? Is it like a safari wagon?
