Hey all

Have a 96 maxima lowered using tokicos. Question is what's the widest tire i can use? Can someone pls tell me what's the widest i can use if i was running 16"s, 17"s or even 18"s? I'm running stock 15"s right now and will need to change very soon. Pls help.

since there is limited sizes in 16" street tires.... you would be limited to 245s.... as for 17s and 18s you can go with alot of sizes 255 to 265 is the most I could see being stuffed under the fenders..... with the right offset... and if you don't mind the tires sticking out you could go larger than you would ever need

 

max you can go is 275. i have a friend who has 275s on the rears in his 5th gen.

 

Thanks for the help guys. I guess what i'm trying to figure out is IF i decide to go 17"s what is the widest i can go without rubbing and keeping the ride quality not as harsh? The same with the 18"s? Thanks again!
