different size, same diameter
different size, same diameter
What are the implications of getting tires at 215/50-17 over 235/45-17?
Both produce an almost identical diameter according to the link in the FAQs

TIA

All else being equal, the 215/50 will provide a slightly smoother ride, a little more sidewall flex hence less direct steering, a little less ultimate grip than the 235/45. More 'touring' oriented than 'sport' oriented.
215/50 also within the specs of 7" width wheels, 235/45 not recommended for any wheel less than 7.5 inches
