235/55/17 on 5.5?

Any problem with rubbing? Will they fit stock SE wheels?

225/50/17 is the stock size
235/45/17 is what I run on my stock rims with a 1.5" drop
235/55/17 will probably rub...but even if it doesn't it will look kind of stupid, like you have balloon tires (trust me, I've seen a max with this size on the stock rims and it didn't look good at all)

Thanks, I checked that thread but none of those sizes were ever mentioned. Most want more agressive tires and I want them a little more plump and those someone may have tried these others.

If what you mean by "plump" is ride confort, the Falken 512s in the OEM size are as "plump" as it gets due to its very soft sidewalls. And the car won't look silly.

Would the 225/55/17's be that bad? Overall they are an inch bigger in diameter making them 1/2" bigger off the wheel.
