Widest tires for 16"

curious whats the wides i can run thats still effective... on the stock 16"

I used 225/50/16 in place of 215/55/16

I had 225/55/16, they looked very nice and wide but steering wheel was shaking a little, balance was ok; (I think the wide of rim 6.5 doesn't take the wider tires very good) so had to go back to stock 215/55/16; some guys go 225/16/50 to maintain same heigh of the car, but probably odometer will go off a little.

I just got 255/50hr16 on my 99se on the stock rims, no rubbing at all seems fine.

245s will fit but i wouldnt go much wider than 225 especially if ur auto
