Falken ZIEX-512 reviews
After a long time researching tires for my 2K2 SE I went with the Falen ZIEX 512's in the stock 225/50/17 size. I have about 1000 miles on them so far and am very happy. Dry traction is excellent, wet traction is very good with no hydroplaning. So far I have driven them in the snow twice and can definately say that they are 100 times better than the stock Potenzas. I highly recommend them so far, I can't comment on tread wear or reliability since I only have 1000 miles on them. Also, many said these tires were loud, I don't hear any difference in road noise compared to the stock potenzas.
get GForce KD.. if u want the best tires... KDWS for all season... the tires are sticky even for my mk4.. and i have tried many diff. brands
the kds are as sticky as ur going to get to drag radials...

I have the 512's on my car and hate them they handle great but are far from quieter and I have had it back to three tire places trying to get the vibration right and everytime it comes time for a rotation and balance it takes them 6 times to get it right. I have put 13,000 on mine now and they are half worn and my wife doesn't drive it hard at all so I would hate to see someone that is hard on tires.
You have a MKIV supra? And if you already have these tires, why are you "thinking" about getting them here (just yesterday I might add)

I first saw the cracks on goodyears on one front tire outside, so bought 2 falken ziexs for the fronts and rotated the new ones to the rear. And then I had the mechanic identify cracks on the inner side and so had to buy 2 more new tires. Since I heard on this org that Falkens have soft wall and hence won't help better handling, I bought 2 Kumho HP4s to put them on the front. I think I like this setup. Kumhos I guess have slightly stiffer sidewalls and hence the steering feels better while the rear Falkens are just clawing onto the road even in the snow/slush. Even the road noise reduced a lot.
Feel much better on Falkens/Kumhos than I ever felt on Goodyears.
