20 's on a max well not look right. 16 throw 18 are best.

Nothing will look right if your wheel+tire overall diameter is bigger than stock.

Incorrect. Nothing will look right if you don't drop it. Stock height is absurd.

20's on a maxima that isnt lowered can look funny i will agree on that. BUT I have my jic's slammed on 20's which helps a lot in the looks category. Basically, lowered on 20's is nice in my opinion

All in all we have learned something here today. 20's on a Maxima/I30 may just be appealing on the 4th, 5th, and 6th gen Maximas (as well as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen I30/I35 series) with a mild or extreme drop). I would like to officially say I am not against bigger wheels in any aspect, I just don't see the point in putting them on a car if the overall ride quality will be sacrificed. I.E., if you have a show car like Max Mutes, 1Hotmax, and rob van dam then thats cool. But if the car is a daily commuter car, I would not really see the point. Just my .02.

You really need 26's for the Max to look right, anything smaller sucks.
