Stock 17's Vs. 04' 18's
#3
I say just replace those potenza re92s....and get yourself some nice all seasons (i see that you live in NY)....Pirelli PZERO NERO M+S, Falken Ziex 512, and Toyo Proxes 4 all come into my mind....i personally own the pirellis and I think are great traction on dry pavement considering they are all seasons....but I also heard the 512 and proxes 4 are good too....
upgrading to 18 inch maxima wheels isn't to good of an idea...i know for a fact they weigh alot (17x7 maxima rims already weigh 24lbs/each).....and the stock tire size that comes in 04 maximas are 245/45/18 which isn't the correct size for our 5th gens....ideal size is 245/40/18....so your speedo is going to be off, your wheel gap is going to get bigger, and you might rub during turns depending on how low your dropped.....if none of this is a concern with you...just ignore whatever i said in this paragraph
