Tire Size Recommendation

I just purchased a set of 2005 18" Maxima wheels for my 2002 Max SE. What tire size do I need so there is no rubbing? I'm looking for a nice look and not too big of a sidewall that it makes the 18" look small.

try the tire size calculator.... i think a 235/40/18 might work. however you might be able to get closer.

either do a 235/40 18 or 245/40 18 - i have 245/40's on my 18's and no rubbing whatsoever- i'm even dropped on s.techs too! rim does not look small at all in a 245/40 18 - you're gonna want some sidewall for protection for those puppies! good luck bro

Here is a nice tire size calculator, which shows how changes to the Width/Aspect/Rim affect the overall size of the tire/wheel. Even shows the changes in pictorial format, and calculates how much your speedometer is affected by changing tire size.
