lug nut question...

I have a 99 gxe that came with 15" steel wheels.

I bought a set of OE 16"x6.5" alloys from ebay that came off a 2000 maxima. They are the ones with a big "disc" in the middle and 9 spokes. They did not come with the lugs.

Can I use my old lug nuts with these or do I need different ones? Thanks.

If, and I stress if, the lugnuts are the type that hold the hubcap in place, they probably won't fit since they have the larger diameter lip (and rubber seal) to hold the hubcaps in place. Give DaveB a call. A couple of months ago I went the other way and I bought a set of steelies and hubcaps out of an 05 Alti. Dave quoted me about $1.25 a piece plus shipping for the lugnuts, but the ebayer gave them to me for free when Dave told me to ask for them since he didn't think the seller would need them for the set the guy had bought (you may want to try this too). I can't imagine the lugnuts you need being priced much different and they should have tons of lugnuts sitting around since most people buy wheel locks.
