I like the Centerline RPM, about 15lbs and forged, usually about $300 each.

One of the best wheels for the money if you like the style.

Otherwise I like the Oz superleggas and most of the wheels from Volk.

Back in the day, Enkeis weren't all that great. Have they improved since then?

Crappy Enkei's are crappy. But they have different lines, and are even a supplier to F1. That's the kind we use.

Just because a company declares bankruptcy, doesn't mean it is going to shut down. How many times have US airline companies gone bankrupt and still continued doing business? I wouldn't worry too much.

Why are they crappy? Do they bend easy or something?

I had Enkei on my very first car (civic) and I've nailed potholes after potholes for years but never had an issue.

Like most other crappy wheels, they are ugly and cast.
But I was saying that Enkei also makes very good wheels. They supply wheels to F1, Rally racers, and Japanese racing series'. Those are of the quality that we use, forged lightweight wheels.

I know the Moda R6s are heavy and I always hear that they are soft. That being said, I'm still considering a set.
