I ran 17" for 1 year and could wait to get 18" they just look more of an upgrade as most cars our size these days are running on 17's from the factory. Just my 2 cents! I noticed no compromise in ride comfort either, 19" not enough rubber especially as a daily driver with a dropped stiffened suspension.

They make knockoffs of knockoffs now? Weird.

cliff notes: motegi wheels are cheap knockoffs themselves.

Yup. And for this wheel specifically, the original rim is the Advan AV3. There have been so many knockoffs since then from Motegi, Speedy, Axis, TenzoR, Exel, R1, BSA, Rev, and too many others to count.

Motegi is garbage. And 95% of their rims are too narrow...

Those are FLIK's which are a Knockoff of AXIS rims.
Get 18's you will regret it if you don't.I have the same rims on my WRX in Bronze. But FLIK didn't have 18's for my car.So I got ROTA's which is a knockoff too.
