Spacers Needed?

I was told by someone that these wheels im getting (Sport Max 922) have an offset of 42, and that I require quarter inch spacers. Any truth to this? What will happen if I dont get spacers?

What is the width of the wheel and what size tire will you be running? +42 is kinda a high offset if the wheel is 8 inches in width, and the spacers will provide a more flush look to the fender. It is not requred though.

You can run that offset w/out any problems.
