Aftermarket Wheel Finish Protection?

Like most people already know, most modern aftermarket wheels have a very delicate finish. Most paint finish wheels shouldn’t be cleaned with harsh chemicals, and should be polished and protected with products that can be used on painted surfaces.

Just wanted to know if anyone uses or knows of any products that really make a difference when it comes to keeping you wheels looking new for long.

I was looking into purchasing some of tirerack’s endorsed “Wheel Wax”, any opinions?

Since no one else has responded...

I got some wheel wax, and liked that it made cleaning my wheels alot easier. The dirt and brake dust doesn't seem to stick as hard when cleaning them. I don't know about the long term benefits, though, or how well they stand up to cleaning agents. I just use regular car wash stuff to do the wheels and they clean up great with the wheel wax on 'em.
