Wheel scratches

Today i was cleaning my 16" SE 5-spoke wheels. One wheel had really tough brake dust on it. Like an idiot, I used a steel brush to try and take it off. Well it made some pretty deep scratches. Good thing i used it in only one spot. What can i do to smooth it out a bit?
