help me chose between these rims

ok i finally decided to get rims. i cant decide between the Mille Migle Evo 5 (dont have a pic but im sure most people know what they are). or the Rota subzero in steel grey: http://www.machiii.net/wheels/rota_subzero.html botha re 17x7.5 so im thinking 245/45/17, id get the 235/45 but that wheel gap is big enough as it is.

I'd get none. I think both are "okay" type rims. I'd get Axis Spyder.

16.5 pounds for a 17" wheel at 550 a set??? rotas sound like a great deal. don't know how strong they'd be tho.

rotas look better too.

You should delete this and run it as a poll, it will be much easier to see the results.

I'd go with the rotas since they look alright and they're really light weight.

mostly, i like a lip on rims. evos look nice on the max, but spokes are too flush to the rim for my taste. also, the aforementioned price vs. weight. like i said, don't know about strength (or the weight of the evos for that matter) but the rotas are cheap and light. if you've got good roads, i'd go for it.

what would the center caps look like anyway?

of those two, I'd go with the Evos....but if you like the double-spoke design, I REALLY like the Falken Torque 5

thanx a lot for posting the pics! i dont know much about the quality of the rotas. the evo5 seems to have a great reputation....anyone know how much they weight?

the g35c rims are sweet but im trying to get away from stock, althought thise are really nice, but 18 if im not mistaken, defenatly dont wanna go to 18, rough ride and $$$ tires.

evo's: look sweet. BUT are pretty soft. if you have any pot hole issues, don't get them. they will bend enough to cause steering vibration.

the others: look cheap to me..

nice thing about the evo's is for some reason, they look bigger than what they are... at least to me.

But getting lighter rims aren't so bad either. I bought some 17"s with brand new tires (steal at $260) and they weigh 16lbs each. My chrome 16" stockies were close to 22lbs. Swapped them out and the car accelerates a whole lot faster.

i never knew falken made rims. those are alright but i personaly don't like the rims that have what looks like screws next to the spokes. don't know if that makes any sense. go on tirerack.com and check some rims out too.

get the evo's ... the 18's weigh 27 lbs ea. which is kinda much. if it's only between those wheels, the evos look FAR better then those lame cheap honeycomb wheels. my opinions tho. good luck find the evos though, cept used

Evos

Everyone on cardomain.com seems to have these and for the most part they all look good... but the evos look best with a body kit to compliment the look!
