Center Rings for new rims?
Center Rings for new rims?
hey all, i just purchased some new 17x7 rims for my 98 maxima. i notice on the box, it saids the center hole size is 73.1 i know the size for my maxima is 66.1 i was wondering if i need to get some center rings to make up the difference. will the rims be stable without them? thanks.
These are called hubcentric rings. I had a big problem without them, my 2003 shaked and wobbeled down the road until i got the right set of rings.
Also some rims are set up to be lugcentric where the lugs center the wheel instead of the hub.

They are somewhat spicific so I dont think you will find them on ebay. Check discount tire and Gorilla automotive. I used Gorilla hubcentric rings on my Enkei and I havent had a problem. Just make sure you have the exact specs.
